I cannot overstate how helpful Deirdre was for my family and me. We had accumulated approximately 10 years worth of stuff that had just been sitting around our house. I didn't want to just put everything into the trash (because, as Deirdre put so perfectly, there really is no "away" when you "just throw something away"). I knew there had to be a more responsible way of handling the shoe boxes of crayon stubs and dried up pens and foreign DVDs and etc, but I didn't have the energy or the enterprise or time to
figure it out myself.
Deirdre came and helped us sort through things, she hauled a good amount of it away, and told us what we could do with the rest and anything else we accumulated in the future. It may sound extreme, but all that stuff was such a weight on my mind. With Deirdre's help, I now feel empowered to
be a much more responsible consumer!

I can't recommend Deirdre enough. I was so overwhelmed with all the stuff accumulating in our basement and closets, I couldn't tackle it myself. A big question I had was where all of it would go if I no longer wanted it, and didn’t want to deal with a lot of waiting for people to pick things up. She got right to work helping me figure out what to keep and what I could get rid of. She knew exactly how to dispose of all my cast-offs responsibly, from old bedding, batteries, and bikinis to electronics and even furniture.
My basement was a new place within a few hours — an almost emptied closet I could actually use, floor space I hadn't seen in years, and so much less crap everywhere! I feel so much better that I didn't just dump it all off someplace that would have likely tossed much of it in the trash. She's super organized and knowledgeable and yet very relaxed. It was all so much easier than I expected.
